“The Parliament has approved the Nari Shakti Vandan Bill, a landmark legislation aimed at enhancing women’s representation in both the Parliament and State Legislatures, paving the way for their substantial participation in governance. Vice President of India, emphasized the pivotal role of women’s empowerment in propelling India towards greater strength and the realization of ambitious goals outlined for the Amrit Kal era. This Notification was published on 11.02.2024.

Addressing attendees as the chief guest during a commemorative event at Dhote Bandhu Science College on the occasion of late Manohar Bhai Patel’s 118th birth anniversary, Vice President underscored the transformative potential of harnessing women’s power. The event not only celebrated the legacy of Manohar Bhai Patel but also served as a platform to highlight the significant strides towards gender equality and women’s empowerment in India through legislative measures like the Nari Shakti Vandan Bill.”
