Government of Telangana in discussions with top global city planners and designers in Dubai

Chief Minister of Telangana led a delegation and held detailed discussions with top global city planners and designers, mega master plan developers and architects on Sunday. The marathon back-to-back meeting sessions were primarily focused on developing the 56-kilometer long Musi riverfront, green urban spaces, and exploring commercial linkages, and investment models. The meetings held in Dubai mark a pivotal extension and continuation of ongoing discussions with over 70 prominent global design, planning, and architecture firms, consultancies, and experts. These engaging sessions saw leading global firms showcasing their exemplary work in aligned areas and presenting a comprehensive overview of past and current projects spanning Europe, the Middle East, and major cities worldwide. As we extend a warm welcome to the best-in-class firms in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister emphasized, “Historically, cities have thrived near water bodies, with rivers and lakes naturally defining urban landscapes. Once the Musi is rejuvenated, Hyderabad will stand as a rare global city defined by a river and several major lakes.” Virtually all participating firms have expressed keen interest in establishing partnerships with Hyderabad and Telangana. Further consultations are scheduled as these firms plan visits to Telangana in the upcoming days.
