The National Medical Commission (NMC) had issued a public notice inviting comments from the public on live surgery broadcasts by private hospitals. This notice was dated January 23, 2024 and was published on January 25, 2024.
All stakeholders and public at large were invited to provide their feedback on these broadcasts. The last date for providing this feedback was February 2, 2024.
Now, the NMC has issued an addendum to its previous notice. The addendum stipulates that the feedback shall be sent to the Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB). This feedback must be sent through email at ethics@nmc.org.in. This feedback shall be submitted by February 8, 2024.
This feedback will assist the committee to form a balanced and informed decision on the matter at hand.
