The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) department under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) will orgnaise a webinar on coping with air pollution. A press release on the webinar was issued on January 5, 2024.
This webinar is scheduled to take place on January 9, 2024 at 4pm. The webinar will be held on the topic of ‘Ill Effects Of Air Pollution. How To Deal With It‘.
The seminar will be conducted by Dr. Madu Mahan. Dr. Mahan is an Asst. Professor in the Department of Respiratory Medicine of VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi. .
This will be the 74th webinar in a series being conducted by the CGHS. This series consists of short webinars of 60-90 minutes in length. The webinar will involve 30-40 minutes presentation by a CGHS doctor. It will be followed by 30 minutes of Q&As from beneficiaries. These webinars will be held at 4 PM on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.
The CGHS orgainses these webinars to provide useful information to its beneficiaries. It also seeks to create awareness on health conditions, provide guidance on promotive care, lifestyle modification and dispel myths and doubts.
