The National Medical Commission (NMC) has successfully concluded a refresher training session for its assessors. This training aims at fulfilling the broad goals of furthering quality standards in medical education. This training was held on December 14, 2023 and a press release was issued on that same day.
This training session forms a part of NMC’s ongoing initiative to elevate assessment quality of Indian medical colleges. The session focused on reinforcing the standards and methodologies employed in assessing medical students.
In regards to this training, the Head of the Media Division at NMC observed that the rigorous training exemplifies steadfast dedication to fostering excellence in medical education. He further stated that such initiatives are vital for ensuring that medical professionals receive top-tier training, thereby strengthening our healthcare systems.
