Tamil Nadu Government has distributed essential commodities to cyclone affected regions under Public Distribution Scheme. Minister of Food and Food supply reviewed the distribution of essential commodities under Public Distribution Scheme at the Head Office with the departmental officers. This Notification was published on the date of 08.12.2024.
Public Distribution Scheme stores are operated in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, and Tiruvallur Districts. The focus of this scheme is to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities at all fair price shops.
