The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has revised certain standards for Flours, Salt & Polyethylene Containers. This notification were published on December 11, 2023.
The revised standards are as follows:
- Maida — Specification (Third Revision)
- Semolina (Suji or Rawa) — Specification (Second Revision)
- Calcium Propionate, Food Grade — Specification (Second Revision) and
- Polyethylene Containers for Foam Compounds — Specification (Second Revision)
All of the above standards stand established on November 21, 2023. The previous versions of these standards stand withdrawn from February 21, 2024.
