The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) has issued a draft of Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission Transmission Licence Regulation, 2023. A public notice of these draft regulations was issued on 11th September, 2023.
The notice informs all the stakeholders and interested parties that the draft regulation will be finalized after the expiry of 28 days i.e on the 7th November, 2023.
The draft regulations issues consolidated guidelines for the procedure of granting the license, general and special conditions to take care of the present day requirements, particularly in the context of the development of intra-state transmission systems.
This Regulation shall apply to all transmission licensees who were granted a license under the AP Electricity Reforms Act,1998 in the State of Andhra Pradesh and supersedes all the earlier regulations/stipulations/guidelines/ directions issued by the Commission
The comments/suggestions/objections on the draft regulation, if any, may be sent by email to commn-secy@aperc.in or by post to the Commission’s office at Hyderabad to reach the undersigned on or before 7th November 2023 for consideration by the Commission.
The comments/suggestions/objections received after the above date may not be considered by the Commission while finalizing the draft regulation.
