New center sector schemes under Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan” (PM-USP) for benefit of population un union territories

University Grants Commission vide circular dated 04 July, 2023 has issued two center sector schemes under Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan” (PM-USP) for benefit of population of union territories:

1. ‘PM-USP Center sector Interest Subsidy” and;
2. ‘PM-USP Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University students”.

The Higher Education Institutions located in union Territories are requested to derive the benefits of the scheme and also to disseminate the information regarding these schemes, so that objective of these schemes can be achieved in a time bound manner.
