Revised BIS standards

Bureau of Indian Standards on 21 June, 2023 has notified revised Indian standards for the following goods and articles:

1. Bevel Protractors
2. Specification for Mechanical Bevel Protractors
3. Specification for Optical Bevel Protractors
4. Guide for Selection of Type and Page Layout in Textbooks
5. Guide for Illustrations in Books
6. Specification for Agar, Microbiological Grade
7. Soluble Starch, Microbiological Grade
8. Gelatin, Microbiological Grade
9. Malt Extract, Microbiological Grade
10. Code for Preparation of Escherichia coli Diagnostic Sera
11. Code for Preparation of Vibrio cholerae Diagnostic Sera
12. Optics and Photonics — Lasers and Laser-Related Equipment — Test Methods for Laser Beam Power, Energy and Temporal Characteristics.

The revised standards shall come into force on 20 July, 2023.
