Department of Prohibition, Excise & Registration of Bihar on 9th May, 2023 issues notification for providing Aadhar authentication to identify persons who register documents in Registration offices. As per the request of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Aadhar authentication to identify persons who register documents shall be completed using Yes/No or/and e-KYC authentication facility.
The Government of Bihar, being authorized by Government of India in this behalf, has authorized the Department of Prohibition, Excise and Registration (Registration) to perform Aadhaar
authentication, on voluntary basis, for indentifying the persons who intend to register the
document in the Registration Offices, using Yes/No or/and e-KYC authentication facility.
