Revised rates of minimum wages

The state governments has issued the revised consumer price index, variable dearness allowance and minimum wages based thereupon. The following states has issued respective revised rates to be applicable from 01.04.2023:

Governor of Bihar has issued following rates of minimum wages:

1. Unskilled – 388.00 Per day,
2. Semi skilled – 403.00 Per day
3. Skilled – 491.00 Per day
4. Highly Skilled – 600.00 Perday
5. Supervisory/Clerical – 11107.0 Per Month

The governor of Jharkhand has declared that payment of variable dearness allowance on the basis of average Consumer Price Index of July-December, 2022, which is 131.45, will be payable from 01.04 .2023.

Governor of Punjab has issued following rates of minimum wages:

1. Unskilled – 398.00 Per day,
2. Semi skilled – 428.00 Per day
3. Skilled – 462.00 Per day
4. Highly Skilled – 502.00 Per day

Governor of Delhi has issued following rates of minimum wages:

1. Unskilled – 663.00 Per day,
2. Semi skilled – 731.00 Per day
3. Skilled – 804.00 Per day
