The Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued a notice on the implementation of ESI Scheme in Valsad District.
The notice states that the ESI Scheme has been implemented in all the areas of Valsad district, in addition to the already notified areas of the said district, in the state of Gujarat.
Moreover, the employers who have employed 10 or more persons on any day of the preceding 12 months may register themselves under ESI Act, 1948 and make compliance with the provisions of the Act.
The employers are therefore requested to visit the ESIC web portal (for Manpower Suppliers / Security Agencies / Contractors) or visit the Shram Suvidha web portal (for any other nature of work) for online registration.
