Department of Telecommunication (DoT) is inviting public comments on Telecom Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI) transposed standards. The notice in this respect was issued on 20th March, 2023.
It may be recalled that DOT approved a policy for adoption of standards of TSDSI/ international standards bodies into National Standards.
Moreover, Telecom Standards Advisory Committee (TSAC) in its meeting held on 16th March, 2023 decided to initiate the process of adoption of TSDSI transposed standards corresponding to the new and updated specifications of 3GPP Release 15, 16 and 17 as National Standard.
As a next step in adoption process, all the stakeholders are requested to offer their comments on the TSDSI transposed documents. The last date for furnishing of these comments shall be 19th April, 2023. These comments shall be sent be email to dirsted.tec-dot@gov.in, adgs.tec-dot@gov.in
It shall be borne in mind while offering the comments that only technical content or the amendments affecting the technical content of standard shall be open for public comments.
