The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) on December 17, 2022, issued an order regarding fixing a minimum CTE/CTO fee for the Low Ash Metallurgical Coke (LAMC) manufacturing units (Bee Hive Coke Oven), LAMC Crushers and Stone Crushers. Regional Offices are hereby directed not to accept any Consent application for those categories of industries till the enhanced fee is decided by the Board.
CTO shall be granted to the Low Ash Metallurgical Coke (LAMC) manufacturing units (Bee Hive Coke Oven) and LAMC Crushers for a period of only one (1) year as these units are under the scanner of Hon’ble Courts including Hon’ble Supreme Court.
