The Government of Kerala on December 13, 2022, issued a notification regarding Bill Discounting System. Detailed guidelines have been issued for extending the BDS facility on January 15, 2020, to Contractors/Suppliers/Accredited agencies of all other Departments/Institutions/Public sectors. The government has issued orders for fixing the schedule of payment of pending bills/cheques up to the month of November 2022.
The government has now issued that the scheduled date for payment of bills/Cheques in respect of Contractors/Suppliers/Accredited Agencies of all Departments/Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings for the month of December 2022 will be June 13, 2023.
