Haryana Water Treatment Incentives scheme for the manufacturers of Electric vehicles The Government of Haryana on November 03, 2022 has notified a scheme for “Water Treatment Incentives” for the manufacturers of Electric vehicles (EV), significant components of EVs, batteries for EVs, and charging infrastructure. The objective of the scheme is to promote water recycling among manufacturers of Electric Vehicle (EV), significant components of EVs, batteries for EVs, and charging infrastructure.
The units manufacturing EV and EV components, which construct a water treatment plant in the premises after July 10, 2022, within the policy period, shall also be eligible to avail incentives under this scheme. The scheme shall commence with effect from July 10, 2022, and shall remain in operation for a period of 5 years.
Haryana government has also issued a scheme for incentives for battery swapping stations for Electronic Vehicles.
