The Department of Food and Public Distribution vide notification dated 14th October, 2022 has issued the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses (Second Amendment) Rules, 2022. The amendment provides that an applicant shall not be liable to pay application fee for registration of warehouses storing only agricultural goods.
This exemption shall be applicable for a period of one year from the commencement of the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses (Second Amendment) Rules, 2022.
