Revised tariff rates for Palm Oil, precious metals and nuts

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes (CBIC) vide notification dated September 15, 2022 has issued revised tariff rates for following products:

1. Crude Palm Oil – 996 per Metric Tonne
2. RBD Palm Oil – 1019 per Metric Tonne
3. Gold – 549 per 10 gram
4. Silver in any form, other than medallions and silver coins having silver content not below 99.9% or semi-manufactured forms of silver falling under sub-heading 7106 92 – 635 per kilogram
5. Areca nuts – 6853 per Metric Tonne 

The revised rates shall come into force on September 16, 2022.
