The Gujarat Labor Skill Development and Employment Department vide circular dated the 17th September, 2022 has issued the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Rules, 2022. The amendment provides that after submission of application for registration under the rules, if no order for compliance/ registration certificate is communicated to the applicant within thirty days from the date of receipt of the registration application, the permission applied for by the said application shall be deemed to have been granted.
