The State Government of Karnataka on 2nd September 2022, has published the Karnataka Educational institutions (Recruitment and Terms and Condition of Service of Employees in private aided Primary and Secondary Educational Institutions) (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
The Amendment is brought under rule 3 which deals with Qualification and conditions of service of employees in which the following provision has been notified:
Provided further that, reservation shall not apply to both religious minority and Linguistic minority aided institutions.
Under rule 3, based on the financial capacity of the State Government the salary of employees in respect of posts admitted into aid in recognised private educational institutions receiving aid from the State Government shall generally be the same as those applicable for the corresponding category of employees in government educational institutions as per orders issued by the State Government in respect of this category of employees from time to time:
Provided that no employees of an aided Institution shall be entitled to the benefits enumerated in Annexure – II.
Provided further that, reservation shall not apply to both religious minority and Linguistic minority aided institutions.
