PCI opens portal to process applications for new institutions.

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) on 30th August 2022 has decided to again open the portal for new institutions, based on the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court direction which was issued to the statutory body to open a new portal to collect the applications following the request of over 2,500 pharmacy colleges.

The portal shall be open from 1st September to 7th September, for the new institutions to apply for approval to commence new pharmacy colleges. The institution will have to apply on the PCI portal along with pre-requisite statutory documents and these documents shall be in English language duly signed by the principal and legible. The application should be submitted only through the PCI portal within prescribed date along with prescribed statutory documents and Pharmacy Education Regulatory Charges (PERC).No hard copy of the documents/Demand Draft will be permitted.

The pre-requisite statutory documents, including consent of affiliation of examining authority, No Objection Certificate of the State Government, etc., shall clearly indicate that it is for the 2022-23 academic session. The submission of these pre-requisite statutory documents is a mandatory requirement.
