BIS issues due date for compliance with revised standards for IT security techniques

The Bureau of Indian Standards vide notification dated 18th August, 2022 has clarified that the revised standards for following items shall be complied with effect from 4th September, 2022:

1. Information Technology ─ Security Techniques ─ Key Management Part 4 Mechanisms Based on Weak Secrets
2. Information Technology ─ Security Techniques ─ Encryption Algorithms Part 5 Identity-Based Ciphers
3. Methods of Sampling and Physical Tests for Refractory Materials Part 4 Determination of Cold Crushing Strength of Dense Shaped Refractories Products
4. Non-Destructive Testing of Steel Tubes Part 2 Automated Eddy Current Testing of Seamless and Welded (Except Submerged Arc-Welded) Steel Tubes for the Detection of Imperfections
5. Specification for Structural Weather Resistant Steels
