The Department of Telecommunications vide notification dated 25th July, 2022 has increased the limit of maximum number of Microwave Access carriers that can be assigned to a Telecom Service Provider. A Telecom Service Provider with Access Service authorization/license on provisional basis is allowed to have eight Microwave Access carriers instead of existing limit of 4 carriers.
