Government of Tamil Nadu issues revised rates for minimum wages

The Government of Tamil Nadu vide gazette notification dated July 6, 2022 has issued revised rates for minimum wages for following industries:

1. Employment in Cotton Ginning and Pressing and Employment in Cotton Waste
2. Employment in Polythene Manufactory, Processing Foam items and Plastic Manufactory
3. Employment in Polythene manufactory and processing foam Items and Plastic Manufactory
4. Employment in Coffee Curing Works
5. Employment in Distillery Industry
6. Employment in Chemical Fertilizer Industry
7. Employment in Electronic Industry
8. Employment in any rice mill, flour mill or dhall mill
9. Employment in Vessel (Utensil)
10. Employment in Printing Press
11. Employment in Mushroom growing and allied works
12. Employment in bricks and tiles manufactory
13. Employment in Appalam manufactory
