The State Government of Andhra Pradesh on 28th June 2022, has notified amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Allopathic Private Medical Care Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2007.
The Amendment is brought under rule 4 which deals with registration of allopathic medical care in which the following sub clause (aa) has been notified:
All Private Allopathic Medical Care Establishments i.e. Hospitals, Clinics, Diagnostic centres shall enroll under National Digital Health Mission Portal and the Registry will enable hospitals and diagnostic clinics participate in the Digital Health Ecosystem. The health care facility registry will consist of one record and a unique identifier for each healthcare facility in the Country.
Further under rule 5(a), All Doctors, Nurses and Para Medical staff and other health work force cadres shall enroll under National Digital Health Mission Portal.
