UGC directs higher educational institutions to take active participation in implementing redesigned ATAL Faculty Development Programs.

The University Grant Commission on 27th April 2022 has requested all the higher educational institutions and its affiliated colleges/institutions to take active participation in implementing redesigned Academy of Training and Learning (ATAL) Faculty Development Programs (FDP), engaging faculty members to learn new domains, pedagogy and apply the knowledge and encourage the faculty to apply for ATAL FDPs. The portal is open upto 9th May, 2022.

All Indian Council of Technical Education (AICTE) Academy of Training and Learning (ATAL) Programs for Continuing Professional Development (CPDP) have been planned to provide the colleges with good knowledge of the field and associated skills and to make them understand their roles in nation building and welfare of society along with their professional development.

The CPDP consists of three different types of Faculty Development Programs (FDP), Basic ATAL FDP, Advance ATAL FDP and Institutional Building – Leadership for Academic Excellence in Higher Education Institutions.
