The Bureau of Indian Standards vide notification dated 19th April, 2022 has revised the standards for IS 7098 (Part 2) : 2011 Crosslinked Polyethylene Insulated Thermoplastic Sheathed Cables ─ Specification Part 2 For Working Voltages from 3.3 kV Up to and Including 33 kV (Second Revision). All manufacturers shall comply with the revised standards by 12 January 2023.
