The Andhra Pradesh Government, Labor Factories Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department vide notification dated 2nd March, 2022 has amended the Andhra Pradesh Factories Rules, 1950. The amendment is provided in furtherance of E-governance and ease of doing business measures to reduce compliance burden.
The amendment has allowed the option to file returns and obtain licenses through online single desk portal. Previously these compliances were to be made physically. The annual license fee can also be paid online every year or can be paid together for next ten years.
