The State Government of Goa vide its notification dated 17th March 2022 has amendment the scheme called “Modified Scheme for Custom hiring Service in Agriculture”
The Department of Agriculture, through this amendment has revised the Standard hire charges of Paddy Combine Harvester to Rs. 2800/- per hour with immediate effect.
The subsidy on hire charges of agricultural machineries under this scheme shall be applicable to all farmers in Goa venturing for ploughing/transplanting/ /weeding/harvesting/. The Machinery should be hired from Government Departments or Government approved agencies.
50% subsidy on standard hire charges will be provided to farmers at source while booking agriculture machineries on hire from Department of Agriculture. 60% subsidy for transplanting would be provided in case of collective farming for more than 04 Nos. of farmers having less than 1 hectare area of each individual farmers & combined to do transplanting collectively.
