The State Government of Haryana vide its notification dated 9th February 2022, has made it obligatory on the part of the employers of any business, trade, industrial undertaking or any other establishments to grant paid holiday on 14th February 2022 to their workmen who are entitled to cast vote in the election under the Representation of Peoples Act, 1951.
Employees of various factories, shops and private establishments located in Haryana, who are registered voters of legislative assembly of uttrakhand are also allowed to take leave (paid).
