The University Grants Commission vide its notification dated 17th December 2021 has directed all the Higher Education Institutions which come under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act and are offering skill-based courses / programmes under National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) during the academic year 2021-22 to upload relevant information related to students’ enrolment, number of pass outs and placements on the UGC NSQF portal.
The National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) is a competency based framework that organizes qualifications according to a series of knowledge, skills and aptitude. The NSQF levels, graded from one to ten, are defined in terms of learning outcomes which the learner must possess regardless of whether they are obtained through formal, nonformal or informal learning.
The last date for submission of the data shall be 15th January 2022.
