PCI directs medical institutions not to admit students holding higher secondary examination (vocational) of CHSE Odisha.

The Pharmacy Council of India vide its notification dated 10th December 2021 has directed all the institutions approved by PCI, not to admit students holding Higher secondary examination (vocational) of CHSE, Odisha to D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Pharm.D failing which the students will not be eligible for registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.

The PCI has not approved higher secondary Examination (Vocational) of council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha under educations regulations 2020, bachelor of pharmacy course regulation 2014 and Pharm.D. Regulation 2018 during its 356th executive committee meeting held on 3rd December 2021.
