The State Government of Andhra Pradesh vide its notification dated 3rd December 2021 has amended the Andhra Pradesh Allopathic Private Medical Care Establishment (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2007.
As per rule 5, the Registering Authority shall grant the applicant, a certificate of registration (in duplicate), in the prescribed Form-IV, after the applicant has complied with all the requirements, criteria, facilities, etc.
Through this amendment, in rule 5(a), a new item 10 has been inserted which states that the applicant shall hold a “fire safety certificate from the fire department” in order to obtain a certificate of registration.
Further, the applicant shall obtain fire NOC for building spaces from the fire services department.
