The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals vide order dated the 29th November, 2021 has declared that Methylene Chloride (Dichloromethane) (Quality Control) Order, 2021 shall come into force on the 20th May, 2022. The order specifies the Indian Standards to be followed for Methylene Chloride (Dichloromethane) and penalty for non compliance.
