The Employees‘ State Insurance Corporation vide notification dated 8th November, 2021 has relaxed the the eligibility
condition under Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana scheme to have 2 years insurable employment before unemployment and contributory condition. The revised condition w.e.f 01.07.2021 provides that the Insured Person should have been in insurable employment for a minimum period of 12 months immediately before his/her unemployment and should have contributed for not less than 78 days in the one completed contribution period in 12 months immediately preceding to unemployment.
Any objection or suggestions, which may be received from any person by mail in respect of notification
within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of publication, will be considered by the Employees‘ State
Insurance Corporation.
