The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission vide notification dated 26th October, 2021 has repealed with immediate effect, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Regulation of Power Supply) Regulations, 2010. Any plan that was initiated by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Regulation of Power Supply) Regulations, 2010 shall not be cancelled because of repeal of this empowering regulations.
The Plan already under implementation by Regional Load Dispatch Centres or State Load Dispatch Centres under the commission as on the date of this notification, shall run its normal course.
