FSSAI directs for enforcement of Food Safety and Standards (Advertising and Claims) Regulations, 2018

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India vide circular dated 26.10.2021 has directed to enforce the Food Safety and Standards (Advertising and Claims) Regulations, 2018 with immediate effect. The circular has also re-ope rationalized the Food Safety and Standards (Advertising and Claims)(Amendment) Regulations, 2021.

The Food Business Operators shall comply with the Food Safety and Standards (Advertising and Claims)(Amendment) Regulations, 2021 by 1st July, 2022. The amendment prescribes the composition for Edible Vegetable Oils.
