The Government of Goa on 23rd September 2021 has published the Goa Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Rules, 2021 through which it has permitted the electronic means for sending application for registering a society.
The Amendment is brought under rule 4 which deals with the application for registration, in which every application for registration of a society shall be made in Form ‘A’ in any of the following languages viz. Konkani, Hindi, Marathi and English .
The application shall be sent to the Registrar by registered post or delivery by hand or through electronic means.
