The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board has launched a system for Green Rating for the industries based on their environmental performance and compliance with environmental laws. The businesses will be classified into Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum based on environmental performance.
As per performance they will be allowed reduction in consent fee, Extension in consent period, Use of Green Rating Logo by the Project Proponent and Exclusive mention of Green Rated Companies will be made on the website of the State Board.
