The Central Drug Standard Control Organization through notice dated 10.08.2021 has provided clarification regarding submission of notarized/apostilled documents for import registration of cosmetic products. The clarification provides that applications for import registration shall be submitted with self-attested documents and an undertaking to submit notarized/apostilled documents with legal signatures within four months of issuance of registration certificate. This relaxation is issued in view of difficulties caused by ongoing pandemic.
