The Directorate General of Foreign Trade on 27th July 2021 has introduced new proforma namely (Aayat Niryat Forms) ANF 2O(d) for filing application for revalidation of Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment, and Technologies (SCOMET) export authorization.
The new ANF proforma will facilitate the trade and industry to file applications for revalidation of SCOMET export authorisation. The request seeking revalidation of SCOMET authorization may be filed 30 days prior to the expiry of authorization. The period of renewal of authorization shall be counted from the date of actual expiry of authorization leading to less validity time in delayed submitted applications. In any case the total validity time shall not exceed 12 months.
