Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide a public notice dated 22 nd July, 2021, announced amendments in the Handbook Procedures 2015-20. The amendment allows only one revalidation for a period of 12 months to Advance
Authorizations issued on or after 15th August,2020 (instead of 2 revalidation of 6 months each as provided earlier).
The amendment also allows the online submission of records of proper accounts of consumption and utilization of duty free imported/ domestically procured goods against each authorization, and proper accounts of import and its utilization.
