The State Government of Gujarat on 12th July 2021 has published the Gujarat Essential Articles (Licensing, Control, and Stock Declaration) (Amendment) Order, 2021 to further amend issued the Gujarat Essential Articles (Licensing, Control, and Stock Declaration) Order, 1981, which shall extend to the whole of the state of Gujarat.
Through this amendment, the stock limit of all pulses which is put together for a period upto 31st October 2021 has been substituted.
The Stock limit applicable to wholesalers will also apply to importers for stocks held in stock / imported prior to 15th May 2021 and for stock imported after 15th May 2021, stock limit applicable to wholesale will apply after 45 days from the date of customs clearance.
