Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board empaneled three institutions of the state as Environmental Auditor

Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board on 24th June, 2021 empaneled three institutions of the state as Environmental Auditor for exempting the existing projects (having Prior Environmental Clearance) with no increase in pollution load, from the requirement of prior environmental clearance. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has previously mandated the project proponent seeking the exemption from prior environmental clearance, to furnish information regarding the changes and the ‘no increase in pollution certificate’ from the environment auditor or
reputed institutes empaneled by the State Pollution Control Board or Union Territory Pollution Control Board or Central Pollution Control Board or Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
