The Director General of Foreign Trade through circular dated 14 June, 2021 has suspended the Cashew Export Promotion Council of India’s powers to issue/renew RCMCs for products falling under their jurisdiction. APEDA is designated as the agency authorized to issue RCMCs for cashew products with immediate effect. RCMCs issued by Cashew Export Promotion Council of India’s shall remain valid till the rest of their validity period.
