The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization on 16th May 2021 has issued certain specification for oxygen concentrators used in home setting    and it is advised that oxygen concentrators of less than 5 litres per minute capacity may not be sold under the misleading lable of “for home based COVID care”

It is further strongly advised that all sellers must prominently display the continuous flow capacity in liter per minute, percentage of oxygen that a concentrator generates, and the maximum retail price on each model of oxygen concentrators for sale.
