Kerala PCB on 25.03.2021 has issued a standard operating procedure for monitoring of noise level of industries. Only type 1 and class 1 integrating sound level meter with free field microphone shall be used for monitoring of noise level of industries. The SOP suggests to Adopt proper town planning practices like zoning areas into residential, commercial and industrial area and segregation of the same.
