The Kerala State Pollution Control Board vide its circular dated 3rd March 2021 has decided to refund the consent fee for industries based on the representations received for the refund of the fees after the unit is shut down permanently.
For integrated consent to establish applications, one year fee may be retained, and the rest can be refunded and for the renewal of integrated consent to establish, one year fee may be retained, and rest can be refunded.
Further for integrated consent to operate applications where consent to establish has been obtained, one year fee may be retained, and the rest refunded in case the project is dropped before the commencement of the production. No refund shall be made if the project is dropped after the commencement of project and no refund shall be made in case of renewal of applications for consent to operate.
