TRAI conducts 5-day International training programme on “Capacity Building and Sharing of Best Practices in Policy, Regulation and Development”

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) organized a 5-day International training programme on “Capacity Building and Sharing of Best Practices in Policy, Regulation and Development” from 04th to 08th March, 2024 in New Delhi India. This training programme comprised of sessions on various aspects of telecom policies, regulation and development. The sessions covered important topics such as Current Regulatory Regime in Telecom Sector, Issues related to Competition, Licensing and Regulation in Telecommunications, Spectrum Allocation, Valuation & Pricing, Competition Policy, Bridging the Digital Divide, Futuristic Digital Communication Policies and Regulations, Cross Sectoral Regulatory Challenges, Telecom Tariffs & Accounting separation, Regulatory Impact Analysis and Net 11 Neutrality Issues & Challenges etc.

The sessions were delivered by experts from Government, regulator, industry and academia. The delegates were shown demonstrations of indigenously developed technology solutions and various R&D initiatives during their visit to Centre for Development of Telematics (COOT) campus.
